Weekly: silicon metal market analysis (3.04-3.10)

The market price of metallurgical grade  silicon metal was stable this week and the transaction was not active.

The EXW Price of 553# silicon metal from manufacturer is 2225USD/MT-2240USD/MT.
The market price of 441# silicon metal is maintained at about 2335USD/MT.

At present, only individual factories in Sichuan Province and Yunnan Province,

where silicon metal is mainly produced, are scheduled to resume production in mid-March,

and most silicon metal manufacturers have said that the time for resumption of production has not yet arrived.

The silicon metal factories in Xinjiang that have been shut down during the Spring Festival have started working normally, and production has increased slightly.

It is expected that the market transaction will not be active in the next two weeks.
