Cheegoole use the combination of barium, calcium, manganese and silicon to produce a series of ferroalloy compound deoxidizers. Compared with traditional alloy deoxidizers, such as ferro silicon, ferro manganese, ferro aluminum and so on, its vapor pressure is lower, dissolution is more faster and the deoxidation rate is much higher during using it in steelmaking. So it is more suitable for deoxidation of converter steelmaking and secondary refining.
Compound deoxidizer alloys have been used in Capital Iron and Steel Company, TANGSHAN Iron and Steel Co., Ltd and POSCO. Compared with traditional deoxidizer, its effect and deoxidation rate has improved greatly.
