Calcium Barium Aluminum Silicon alloy is a deoxidizer alloy for steelmaking.
Calcium Barium Aluminum Silicon alloy is the perfect combination of silicon aluminum alloy and calcium silicon alloy.
Aluminum has strong affinity for oxygen of molten steel. Calcium introduced in deoxidizer which contains aluminum can effectively make modification of high melting point inclusion, thereby it can improve the fluidity of molten steel in aluminum deoxidation.
Barium is a powerful deoxidizer with big specific gravity and low vapor pressure. It can miscible with calcium completely and lower vapor pressure of calcium with increasing barium.
Adding calcium barium aluminum silicon alloy in deoxidation of steelmaking can improve the fluidity and cleanliness of molten steel, avoid nozzle clogging of continuous cast and change the shape of inclusions.
