A magnesium ferrosilicon nodularizer for ductile iron.
Mg8 FeSi alloy is a nodularizer that contains a high level of magnesium (6-9.5%).
It has high nodularity rate. The advantages of Mg8 FeSi alloy for ductile iron includes:
- Improve graphite nodules count.
- Reduce shrinkage tendency.
- Decrease chilling tendency.
Cheegoole uses special production methods to reduce the oxide in nodularizer and minimize the compositional segregation during solidification.
